*NEW SATURDAY DAY PACKAGE AVAILABLE!! SEE BELOW*
The AfricanX three-day trail running race has become a favourite on the trail running calendar and there aren’t many people who know more about what it entails than three-time AfricanX winner and trail running guru, Meg Mackenzie!
We are excited to announce that on 21 & 22 of January 2017 Meg will be coming to Trail’s End to run a trail running workshop.
Glean tips and tricks from her as you join her for guided runs around some of the trails that make up part of the AfricanX route and find out about what to look out for, how to train and advice on nutrition too.
Joining Meg is multi-sport legend Dr Chad Gordon. Chad has been part of the race scene for years and has numerous triathlon, mountain bike and trail race titles to his name. He and continues to excel in his field and is passionate about the outdoors, fitness and nutrition and will be sharing his knowledge on injury prevention and running healthy.
We are also extremely pleased to have Polar join us as part of this workshop. They’ll have some heart rate monitors for us to try out during the training runs and will also be presenting on how to use heart rate monitoring to maximise training and performance.
So, if you’re signed up to take part in the AfricanX or are preparing for another stage race, this is the perfect weekend for you!
