For those of you who don’t already know, there is a fantastic wine farm just down the road from us called Paul Cluver Wines – You may have heard of them before because they produce a plethora of award-winning wines! Their estate has a secluded woodland amphitheatre where, each summer, an array of some of South Africa’s best musical artists perform. The theatre accommodates just 600 people so ticket holders are able to enjoy a uniquely intimate show.
The folk at Paul Cluver Wines also have a generous heart as this will be the fifth season where the programme has been curated by and for the benefit of the Thembalitsha Foundation, an NPO who have a number of projects across the Western Cape including three right here in Grabouw. Thembalitsha has been working tirelessly and investing sustainably in our community for over two decades via their educations, healthcare and training projects and they make such a difference to our town.
The concert programme this year consists of seven shows of live music across the course of the summer and it’s an exciting line up too!
